The Horse Days Board of Directors is happy to announce the first annual Horse Days 2011 event held at the Boone Country Fairgrounds August 19th, 20th, and 21st.
Formed by a network of equine enthusiasts seeing a need for an all-inclusive, family oriented participation event, Horse Days is unique in that it will offer the general public hands-on participation in many different areas of horse-keeping, farm-keeping, and pet ownership.
Planned events include personalized instruction on horse trailer operation, towing safety, safe tractor operations, welding workshops for aluminum and steel, proper fence installation, solar heating, and composting waste. Demonstrations & clinics will include natural horsemanship for Western & English disciplines, colt starting, eventing, jumping, dressage, reining, and competitive driving.
Horse Days will offer hundreds of vendors and the largest variety of horse products, dog products, and equipment at one single event. Every vendor will be have an exclusive Horse Days promotion for you to take advantage of during the show, and every day will start with a pancake breakfast.
Rustic camping and a limited number of full campsites will be available on the event grounds.
